Albert’s feature-length science-based screenplay Incarnations has been selected as a finalist for the 14th Annual Peachtree Village International Film Festival. A table read of Incarnations will take place during the festival, which runs October 24-27, 2019.
Peachtree Village International Film Festival is hosted by The African American Cinema Gallery (AACG) & Gipp. Museums, Inc. PVIFF was created in 2006 under the previous name Sweet Auburn International Film Festival and has served as the launching pad for many successful filmmakers and other artists in the film and entertainment industry. Artists such as actor/director Mario Van Peebles, actress Ruby Dee, director/writer Rob Hardy of Rain Forest Films, producer Roger Bobb of Tyler Perry Studios, director Malcolm Lee, casting director Alpha Tyler formerly of Tyler Perry Studios, casting director Kim Hardin, Emmy Award winning producer Dean Hargrove, casting director & producer Reuben Cannon formerly of Tyler Perry Studios, best-selling author Omar Tyree, actor Bill Nunn, director Kenny Leon, humanitarian Afeni Shakur, and more have all participated in various aspects of PVIFF over the years.
Incarnations, written by Albert, is about a grieving biologist who discovers startling scientific evidence revealing the fate of his deceased four-year-old son, launching him on a spiritual quest where life meets death. The project was recently named a finalist for the Launch Pad Feature Competition and the Screencraft Film Fund.
