  • THE BUTLER AND THE BALL Selected for All American High School Film Festival in NYC

  • Announced during an Instagram livestream, The Butler and the Ball has been officially selected in the Comedy category for the 2020 All American High School Film Festival, presented by IFC Films. Traditionally held at AMC Theaters in Times Square, the festival will instead be held online this year during the weekend of October 9-11, 2020. The Butler and the Ball screens in the Saturday, October 10, 2020, 3:30-5pm session. The festival includes screenings, workshops, panels, a technology showcase, a college fair, networking events, and the Teen Indie Awards Show, where over $400,000 in prizes and scholarships are handed out. Festival judges include Kristen Stewart, John Oliver, Brittany Snow, John Legend, Ed Burns, Dylan McDermott, Eli Roth, Alysia Reiner, Toni Meyers, Henry Winkler, and Andrew Jenks.

    The Butler and the Ball is an urban fairy tale about a lonely boy who enters a contest to become the new butler of a grieving, reclusive singer, and is directed by eight-year-old Andrew Chan-Possemato, who wrote and produced it with Albert.
