The Butler and the Ball was honored in South Korea at the opening ceremony of the Gimpo International Youth Film Festival, running November 20-28, 2021. The film won an International 9–12 Year Old Encourage award, and director Andrew Chan-Possemato gave a pre-recorded thank you speech.
The Butler and the Ball, an urban fairy tale about a lonely boy who enters a contest to become the new butler of a grieving, reclusive singer, was directed by eight-year-old Andrew Chan-Possemato, who wrote and produced it with Albert.
The Butler and the Ball previously premiered in Korea at Chuncheon Film Festival.
